Motorists mount the kerb and drive along grass verges to escape school-run gridlock in London

Footage shows careless motorists speeding along the pavement in an effort to evade a total gridlock on Bincote Road in Enfield, north London, after school-run traffic reached its peak on Friday at 3.20pm.
